Smart YouTube TV (also called Smart Tube TV) is an open-source YouTube client for Android-based set-top boxes (STBs) and TVs. Its developer claims that it is intended to fix a number problems and flaws with the official YouTube client on such devices.
The app works well on all our Android TV boxes. 4K HD is fully supported.

Cons

Setup
The app (com.liskovsoft.videomanager) and its new beta (com.liskovsoft.smarttubetv.beta) are not available from the Google Play Store, but they can be found on the developer’s official website. For your convenience, we have included it in our complimentary SOFTPAQ.
