TANIX W2 with Android 11 is a new model built using the newly released Amlogic S905W2 budget chipset. It supports 4K AV1 hardware video decoding, which boosts efficiency by 20% compared to H.265/HEVC and saves 30% bandwidth compared to H.265/VP9. It also has dual-band WIFI 5 (801.11ac) module that can maintain a stronger and more reliable connection with today’s ultrafast gigabit routers from your fiber and cable Internet providers. Stream movies, TV show episodes, and live TV channels. Play console-quality Android games with gamepads. With its high performance, high quality, high compatibility, and extremely low cost, this box provides a solid entry-level device for today’s streaming and gaming needs.
We have researched and tested a dozen different brands and models, and this inexpensive one makes a very good single-purpose box, especially for IPTV (similar to a MAG box).
One important thing to mention is that our TANIX W2 TV boxes are packaged with an upgraded IR remote control that has a dozen more buttons than the original factory remote. The additional buttons make it much easier to work with a wide range of streaming and IPTV apps. More specifically, the 4 colored buttons are essential for the popular IPTV app StbEmu.
