Starting Up

Use this guide when you are setting up your TX3 (S905X3) TV Box for the first time, or after you have performed a factory reset.

(1) Accept default language

The TV box is set in the English language by default. Simply press OK to accept the setting.

(2) Reject default timezone

If you don’t live in the default timezone (Greenwich), press UP to highlight the timezone, and then press OK to change it.

(3) Adjust display scale

Depending on the make and model of your TV set, you may see that the display appears cropped off at the four edges of your TV screen. When this happens, you can use the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to adjust the display scale, until the output fits perfectly on your TV screen. Press OK to continue.

(4) Set up wireless network

If your TV box is not connected to a network cable, you will be prompted to set up a wireless (WIFI) connection. Press UP to highlight Wireless, and then press OK.

(5) Turn on Wi-Fi network

Under Network & Internet settings, Wi-Fi is turned off by default. Press OK to turn it on in order to see the available wireless network names. Then use the UP and DOWN keys to highlight your wireless network name, and press OK to select it.

(6) Enter wireless password

Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your WIFI password, then use the on-screen > key (to the right of letter L) to submit it.

(7) Confirm wireless is connected

After WIFI is successfully connected, press DOWN to highlight Next, and then press OK.

(8) Finish initial setup

The initial setup is now completed. Press OK to finish.

(9) Initial setup completed (END)

The initial setup is now completed and the Home Screen is displayed.
