Starting Up

Use this guide when you are setting up your SlimBox TV Box for the first time, or after you have performed a factory reset.

(1) Choose language

Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight the language of your choice, then press OK.

(2) Set up wireless network

If your TV box is not connected to a network cable, you will be prompted to set up a wireless (WIFI) connection. Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight your wireless network name, then press OK.

(3) Enter wireless password

Use the remote control and the on-screen keyboard to enter your WIFI password, then use the on-screen > key (to the right of letter L) to submit it.

(4) Wait till successful connection

Your TV box should be connected to your wireless network momentarily. If you have entered an incorrect password and it fails to connect, you may try again.

(5) Choose a device name

Your TV needs a device name for identification when connecting to it from other devices (e.g. during casting). Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight the name you want, and then press OK.

(6) Initial setup completed (END)

The initial setup is now completed and the Home Screen is displayed.
